Privacy Policy
How Carenetic Digital collects, uses, and protects information when you use this website and request our services.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Who we are
This website is run by Carenetic Digital ("Carenetic," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Phoenix, Arizona. We decide how the personal information described here is used, which makes us its controller. Privacy questions and requests go to the person responsible for privacy at Carenetic, at hello@careneticdigital.com or 480-955-2900.
Scope
This policy covers careneticdigital.com, our contact, offer, newsletter, and job application forms, our meeting booking tool, and direct communications about our services. It applies wherever you are. The sections on cookies and on your rights add what the law gives people in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Canada.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, work email, company, and role, the address of a site you want us to look at, and whatever you write in a form or an email. A job application adds your LinkedIn profile and what you tell us about your work.
- When you book a call. The name and email you give Google's booking page, and the time you pick.
- When you join the newsletter. Your email address.
- When you browse. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that sent you, and where you click and scroll and how you move through a page. What runs before you choose depends on where you are (see Cookies and similar technologies).
We don't ask for health information, and this website isn't meant to receive it.
How we use it, and why
For people in the EU, the UK and Switzerland, each use below names the legal basis we rely on.
- Answering you, booking calls, and preparing a proposal. To take the steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business inquiries.
- Following up with business contacts about our services. Our legitimate interest in telling healthcare organizations about work they've asked us about. You can object at any time, and we'll stop.
- Sending the newsletter. Your consent, given when you sign up. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
- Counting visits and improving the site with analytics, and seeing where people click and scroll. Your consent, where the law asks for it, which you can withdraw in Cookie settings.
- Linking earlier visits to your contact record once you send us a form or follow a link we emailed you, so our follow-up is relevant. Your consent, as part of analytics.
- Reviewing job applications. To take the steps you ask for before an employment contract, and our legitimate interest in hiring.
- Keeping the site secure and stopping spam and abuse. Our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
- Counting page views and measuring how fast pages load, without cookies. Our legitimate interest in a site that works well.
- Meeting legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.
We don't make decisions about you by automated means alone, and nothing we do with this information has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies and similar technologies
Some cookies are needed to run the site and are always on. The other two kinds, Analytics and Clicks and scrolls, are optional, and you can turn either on or off at any time in Cookie settings, linked at the foot of every page. What happens before you choose depends on where you're browsing from:
- In the EU and the rest of the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec, nothing optional runs until you say yes, and Google's booking calendar loads only when you ask for it.
- Everywhere else, both run when you arrive, and you can turn either off in Cookie settings.
Cloudflare's page counts aren't one of these choices, because they set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. They run for every visitor outside the EU (the table below).
We save your choice in the cn_consent cookie for six months, then ask again. When you withdraw a yes, we delete the cookies those tools set on our domain and reload the page so they stop.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, Clicks and scrolls stay off unless you turn them on yourself, and our CRM never recognizes your browser. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
| Category | Provider | What it does | Cookies and how long they last |
|---|---|---|---|
| Needed to run the site | Carenetic Digital, and Cloudflare, Inc. | Saves your cookie choice. Serves the site and protects it, and runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being sent by a person and not a bot | cn_consent, six months. Cloudflare's short-lived security cookies |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) | Counts visits and shows which pages and links get used and where visitors came from. It's linked to our Google Ads account with personalized advertising turned off, so nothing it records is used to choose the ads you see | _ga and _ga_*, up to 13 months. Reports keep event data for 14 months |
| Page counts | Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Web Analytics) | Counts page views and measures how fast pages load, from what your browser reports as the page loads. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so it doesn't identify you or follow you across visits. Cloudflare adds it as it serves each page, outside Cookie settings, and never for visitors in the EU | None |
| Analytics | Carenetic Digital (our own CRM) | Records the pages a browser views on this site. If you later send us a form or follow a link we emailed you, those earlier visits are linked to your contact record. Never used on careers pages, or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control | cnt_anon and cnt_visitor, 12 months |
| Clicks and scrolls | Hotjar Ltd. and Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) | Records clicks, scrolls, mouse movement, and the page as you saw it, never what you type into a form, and shows it as replays and heatmaps, so we can see which parts of a page help and which get in the way | _hj*, _clck and _clsk, up to one year, and Microsoft's own cookies on its domains |
| Meeting booking | Google Calendar appointment scheduling and Google Meet (Google LLC) | Books introduction calls, which are held on Google Meet. The name and email you enter are shared with us to confirm the meeting | Set by Google inside its calendar, under Google's privacy policy |
| Form delivery | Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Email Service) | Emails what you send through our contact, free homepage concept, free site review, newsletter, and job application forms to our team. This website doesn't store those submissions | None |
Cookie settings
You can change your choice whenever you like, from the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page or the button below. Cookie settings needs JavaScript, and without JavaScript none of the optional tools run either.
Health information
Our public website isn't meant to collect or store protected health information (PHI). Please don't send patient information through a form or an email to us. When our work for a client involves PHI, it's handled under that client's contract, never through this website.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with:
- The providers that run parts of this website for us: Google LLC (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Calendar appointment scheduling, and Google Meet), Hotjar Ltd. and Microsoft Corporation (Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity, which show us where people click and scroll), and Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security, Turnstile spam protection, Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, and Cloudflare Email Service, which emails form submissions to our team).
- Professional advisors (legal, audit, insurance) where needed.
- Regulators, law enforcement, or courts when the law requires it.
- A successor company if we merge, are acquired, or sell assets.
Information sent outside your country
We're in the United States, and so are most of our providers, so your information is processed in the US. For information from the EU, the UK and Switzerland, we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where a provider is certified under them, and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, with the UK's addendum, where a provider isn't.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries, bookings, and the contact records they create: while we're in touch, and up to three years after our last contact. If you become a client, our contract sets how long.
- Job applications: up to two years after the role is filled, so we can tell you about another opening, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.
- The newsletter list: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics and click and scroll data: no more than 14 months. Visits linked to a contact record are kept with that record.
- Records the law makes us keep: as long as it requires.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No way of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing email at any time with the unsubscribe link or by telling us. We won't treat you differently for asking.
In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, you also have the right to restrict how we use your information, to object to it (and to any marketing, at any time), to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time, which doesn't affect what we did before. Where we rely on legitimate interests and you object, we'll stop unless we have compelling grounds that override yours. You can complain to your data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office, and we'd welcome the chance to put things right first.
In Canada, you can ask to see and correct your information and withdraw your consent. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or in Quebec to the Commission d'accès à l'information.
To make a request, email hello@careneticdigital.com. We'll answer within one month, and we may ask you to confirm it's you first.
Third-party links and services
Our website links to other websites, tools, and platforms. Their own policies cover what they do with your information, not this one.
Children's privacy
This website is for business and professional audiences, and isn't directed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If a change affects what you've agreed to, the cookie banner asks you again.
